There are two serious Bullard parlors in Manhattan. This is one. The other is Amsterdam Billiards on East 11th at 4th Avenue, across from Webster Hall.

Came in to Society to play some pool with a few buddies. We were told it would about a 30min wait, which wasn't an issue for us. We had a few drinks while we waited. When it was our time we walked to the back and got to our table. The table and pool cues were good and we were happy to play 4 games or so. Overall it was a nice environment and glad we got to play some pool in the city while not being charged a ridiculous price.

We came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon and had fun! The atmosphere is laid back, great music, and drinks were pretty good! Our waitress, Lulu, was very sweet and attentive.

Underground place to relax, drink and play pool. Very fun to bring the guys and let the girls drink. You get your own waitress to order drinks from. Definitely visit!

Huge fan of this place! I have been here on several occasions with friendly staff and best of all, pool table booking! The crowd differs every time but highly recommend booking ahead of time as well. Full serviced bar and full menu. The food here is actually really good - definitely get yourself some of their fries and the sandwich! My date has an allium allergy and they were very careful to remove the ingredients from our order. Definitely will be returning again and again!

I always enjoy going down stairs as soon as I walk into a new establishment in New York City because it's always surprise when you get to the end of the stairs. When you make it down the stairs, you are greeted by Society's staff and they asked you if you want to sit at the bar, go to the lounge, rent a pool table, or play darts. I haven't been into many billiards spots but this place had a lot of tables. The most I have ever seen and I think I counted 18 or 20 tables. Nonetheless, the place is worth a visit if you like pool and darts. As with everything in New York City, it is a little expensive and they charge per the hour for darts and pool. Finally, it is dark and I could barely see when walking down the hall to go to the restroom.

A fun bar and billiards hall -- stopped by on a Sunday evening with friends and it was super easy to get a table. They were playing some great music and overall had a good vibe for a larger group. We got two pool tables and a darts board and everyone had something interesting to do. The drinks here are good as well -- tried both IPAs and loved both. Overall, would totally recommend for the ambiance!
